In short
- Your 30-day free trial needs no card, and nothing is charged when it ends.
- A paid membership renews until you cancel. Cancel any time and keep access to the date you've paid for.
- Able is not medical advice. Choose activities that suit you, and stop if you feel unwell.
- Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Able Digital Wellness Pty Ltd (trading as Able Wellness), ABN 94 642 102 556 ("Able", "we", "us"). They apply when you use the Able Wellness app or this website.
By creating an account or using Able, you agree to these terms. If you're setting up Able for someone you support, such as a family member, or a person you're a guardian or nominee for, you agree to these terms on your own behalf. You also confirm that the person agrees to you setting up Able for them, or that you have the legal authority to do it for them.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. It forms part of how we provide Able.
These terms are for individuals and families. Organisations, such as disability support providers, use Able under a separate written agreement, and that agreement applies instead of these terms where the two differ.
Your free trial
- New accounts can start a 30-day free trial. The trial is available once for each participant.
- You don't need a payment card to start the trial.
- We don't charge you automatically when the trial ends. You are only charged if you choose a paid membership.
- If you don't subscribe, your account stays available, along with a smaller free selection. You'll need a membership for the full membership library.
- If you subscribe before the trial ends, your payment and membership start straight away and any remaining trial days end.
Before launch, joining the launch list starts nothing: no trial, no billing, no card. We'll email you when the trial opens.
Memberships and payment
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Checkout shows the exact amount and dates before you agree to pay.
Monthly and annual memberships
- A monthly membership is billed each month. An annual membership is one payment, billed upfront for the year, not instalments.
- A membership includes one participant. You can add more participants for an additional charge each.
- Appropriate family/helper access is included and has no separate charge.
- Your membership renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Before an annual membership renews, we'll email you a reminder with the renewal date and price, so you have time to decide.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe, our payment provider. We accept major debit and credit cards. We never see or store your full card number.
Launch offer
If you qualify for the launch offer, the first participant is $19.90/month for the first 12 paid months, then $24.90/month, or $199 for the first year, then $249/year. Additional participants are $7.90/month or $79/year each, before and after the launch year.
To qualify, activate your trial by the end of 31 December 2026, wherever you are in Australia. The launch price stays available until seven days after your trial ends. The launch price applies to the first participant on a new individual or family membership. It is not available for organisation accounts.
Price changes
If we change the price of your membership, we'll tell you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
Payment problems
If a payment fails, we'll let you know, try the payment again, and give you a chance to update your details. You keep your membership while we try. If payment still hasn't been made after that, your membership ends and your account moves to the free selection. Your account, preferences and history stay, and you can subscribe again at any time.
Cancelling
You can cancel renewal any time and keep access to the date you've paid for. After that date, your account stays available with the free selection.
To cancel, send us an account request using the email address on your account, and we'll cancel renewal for you. We'll confirm the cancellation and the date your paid access ends by email.
Cancelling stops future payments. We don't usually refund the part of a period you've already paid for, but if something has gone wrong, tell us and we'll look at it fairly. Nothing here limits a refund you're entitled to under Australian Consumer Law.
Ask Able beta
Ask Able is a beta feature. It helps you find selected Able activities, recipes and calm content, and get help using the app.
- Ask Able beta is for eligible paying adults aged 18 and over who are separately enrolled. It is for adults using their own participant accounts. Children are not included in this beta.
- Paying for a membership does not automatically guarantee beta access. Live Ask Able is not included in free accounts or the free trial.
- Usage limits apply. We'll explain availability and usage limits before you join, and they may change during the beta. If we reduce your limits, we'll tell you in the app or by email.
- As a beta, Ask Able may make mistakes, change, or be paused or withdrawn. Ask Able beta has no separate charge. If it is paused or withdrawn, the rest of your membership carries on as normal.
- Ask Able won't give medical advice or decide which activity is safe for your health circumstances. Check its suggestions against your own needs.
- Ordinary app help and accessibility features remain available without it.
When you enrol, we'll explain how Ask Able works, including how your conversations are handled and how long they're kept, and ask you to agree before you use it. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
Your health and safety
Able offers general wellness content: movement, recipes, games and moments of calm. It is not medical advice, and it does not replace advice from your doctor, allied health professional or support team.
- Choose activities that suit your body and your circumstances. If you're unsure, check with a health professional before you start something new.
- Stop straight away if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or otherwise unwell, and seek help if you need it.
- Check recipe ingredients against your allergies, intolerances and dietary needs.
- Membership gives you access to the digital product. It does not include personal wellness coaching.
In an emergency, call 000.
Accounts, family and helpers
- You sign in with your email address and a code we send you. Keep access to your email account secure, as anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
- Family members and helpers use their own logins. Don't share your sign-in with someone else.
- Family and helpers see only what a participant chooses to share, or what the access set up for them allows. If you set up access for someone else, make sure it's what the participant wants, or what their supporter or guardian has authority to agree to.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone has used your account without permission.
- You must be 18 or older to hold an account yourself. A participant under 18 can use Able through an account set up and managed by a parent, guardian or another adult with authority to act for them.
Using Able fairly
Please use Able in the way it's meant to be used. Don't:
- post or send anything unlawful, abusive, threatening or discriminatory, including in comments to family members;
- share other people's personal information without their permission;
- copy, download, record or redistribute Able's videos, recipes or other content, except as the app allows for your own personal use;
- try to get around usage limits or access controls, or to access accounts or data that aren't yours;
- interfere with Able's systems, or use automated tools to scrape or overload them.
If someone breaks these terms, we may limit, suspend or close their account. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and explain why. If there's a risk to someone's safety or to Able's systems, we may act straight away and explain afterwards. If you think we've got it wrong, send us an account request and a person will review it.
Content and ownership
Able's app, videos, recipes, illustrations, games and other content belong to us or the people who license them to us. Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them through Able while your account is active.
Photos, comments and other things you add stay yours. You give us permission to store, copy and show them only as needed to run Able for you and the people you choose to share them with. That permission ends when you delete them or close your account, apart from copies the law requires us to keep and backups that are deleted on a regular cycle. When an account is closed, we remove what it shared from other people's view.
Your consumer rights
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes those guarantees, or any other right you have that the law says cannot be excluded.
If there's a major failure with our service, you may be entitled to cancel and receive a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You may also be entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Our responsibility to you
We work to keep Able available, accurate and safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may need to pause it for maintenance or updates.
To the extent the law allows, and apart from the consumer guarantees above:
- we are not responsible for loss that happens because an activity or recipe was not suitable for you, where Able did not give you advice about your circumstances;
- we are not responsible for loss we could not reasonably have foreseen, or loss caused by things outside our reasonable control;
- for anything else, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for Able in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Changes to Able and these terms
Able will keep changing as we add content and features, and we may change these terms. If a change materially affects you, we'll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree with it, you can cancel before then. The date at the top of this page shows when these terms last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we can bring proceedings in the courts of that place, and in any other Australian court that has jurisdiction.
If something goes wrong, please talk to us first. We'll try to sort it out with you quickly and fairly.
